Thanks for the great info. What do yout think of the CTS coupe coming out this summer?
I posted my full road test and review a few days ago. In short, I was impressed by the CTS Coupe, but am really excited for the debut of the 556 horsepower CTS-V
Thanks for the great review of this coupe. Doesnt 6.8s sounds a bit off ? The Sedan which uses the same engine, suspension and gearbox gets 5.9s and the Camaro V6 which uses the same engine does it in 6.0 or 6.1s (depends on which mag u read).

The 2011 Accord Coupe V6 Has Navi, Bluetooth, Remone start, Anti theift, Back Up cam, Surround sound, Paddle shifters, Sunroof, Memory seats, Heated seats, HID lights, wood trim, and ambient lighting for About 32 grand….
The CTS has NONE of that Stock for 37 grand.

[..YouTube..] @mansfieldcanada diff. test conditions like road conditions, elevation, temperature, and driver all have an affect on the acceleration times. motorweek got it to 60 in 6.0 flat. the cars themselves also have different factors affecting times like gearing, usable hp and torque, weight etc. its not just about hp and torque.

[..YouTube..] don’t think anyone denies the fast part, I think what most people question is the quality and handling of modern domestics. But yes, no one in their right minds would deny American automakers have perfected the art of dropping huge ass engines in E frames that hull ass in a straight line, but most people think thats all they can do. It isn’t true, but US automakers are going to have to work extra hard to beat that reputation internationally, and to some degree, in the US as well.
